He became part of Northwestern's 2026 recruiting class and was among the incoming players scheduled for early enrollment during the winter quarter. This allowed him to begin his transition to college life and prepare for the demands of a new football environment.
Lorek entered Northwestern's program as a first-year defensive lineman for the 2026 season, wearing jersey No. 52. Joining the Wildcats marks his introduction to Big Ten football, where he will face more experienced opponents and the demands of a collegiate defensive system.
