Back in Action for Toledo
After building an impressive high school career at Fremont Ross, Destiny Robinson joined Toledo as a collegiate guard. Her development was interrupted by a knee injury that required surgery and kept her out throughout the 2025-26 season. She returned to action in October 2026.

Robinson attended Fremont Ross High School in Ohio, where she established herself as an accomplished basketball player. She earned District 6 Player of the Year honors twice and received Second-Team All-Ohio recognition.
Her other accomplishments included Three Rivers Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year, Northwest District Co-Player of the Year and three First-Team All-Conference selections.
In her junior season, she posted averages of 16.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game. Robinson also competed in track, earned Academic All-Conference recognition three times and helped Fremont Ross record a 59-15 mark over her first three seasons.
She took the next step in her basketball journey by joining the University of Toledo and competing in the MAC.
During the 2024-25 season, she appeared in 32 games and made five starts. She averaged 3.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 16.5 minutes per game.
Against Miami on January 29, she established her collegiate scoring high with 11 points. She also tallied 10 points and nine rebounds against Kent State on January 8, recorded seven rebounds and five assists against Ohio, and distributed a season-high seven assists against Defiance on December 28.
With 4.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game during her junior year, Robinson showed her effectiveness in creating scoring opportunities and applying defensive pressure. She continued building on those abilities at Toledo.
Away from basketball, she is pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at Toledo. Her academic achievements at Fremont Ross also demonstrate her commitment to education alongside athletics.
On October 27, 2026, Robinson returned to the court as Toledo defeated Lawrence Tech 106-40 in an exhibition game. She ended the opening period by sinking a shot from three-quarters court.
From her successful run at Fremont Ross to competing for the Toledo Rockets, Destiny Robinson has steadily advanced her basketball career. She returned to the court in October 2026, continuing her development at the collegiate level.
