Betts first made her mark at Grandview High School, developing into one of Colorado's most productive athletes. During her sophomore campaign in 2022-2023, she averaged 21.8 points and 16.1 rebounds per game, earning her first Colorado Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year award. Sienna continued improving, eventually collecting three consecutive state Player of the Year honors, leading Grandview to three state championships and surpassing 2,000 career points.
Her success extended beyond high school through USA Basketball. At the 2024 FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup, she posted 13.2 points and eight rebounds, helping the United States win gold and garnering All-Star Five recognition. She returned a season later for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup, recording 14.6 points, 10 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per contest . Her five double-doubles helped the Americans secure another gold medal, while obtaining her a second All-Star Five selection.
Sienna began her university career with UCLA in 2025-2026, although a preseason injury delayed her debut until December 16, 2025, against Cal Poly. She gradually found her place in the rotation, delivering a career-high 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists facing Iowa in the Big Ten Championship. She later recorded her first college double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds in a match with California Baptist in the NCAA Tournament.
The Bruins went on to capture the 2026 NCAA national title, with her gaining a place on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Entering her sophomore campaign, Betts showed immediate production gains. She scored 15 points battling Lehigh on November 2, 2026, before establishing a new collegiate career high of 17 points versus UC Irvine three days later. Across those opening appearances, she totaled 32 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 65.2% from the field.
She brings size, rebounding ability and an effective scoring presence to the Westwood frontcourt. Her performances at the high school and international levels demonstrated her ability to contribute beyond scoring, particularly through rebounding and defensive production. Her efficient start to the 2026-2027 season also reflects her growing offensive confidence.
For Betts, the next step is about turning potential into a lasting impact. With a national championship already behind her, she has an opportunity to take on a bigger role with the Bruins and establish what kind of player she can become in the years ahead.
