Beyond the field, he has also found a way to turn his opportunities as a college athlete into support for the community that raised him.

Crawford attended A.H. Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, where he played for the Parker Thundering Herd under head coach Frank Warren.

He finished his high school career with 155 tackles and 38 sacks. His junior season was particularly productive, producing 67 tackles and 17 sacks to lead his region in the category.

His performances earned him two first-team Class 6A All-State selections, All-Region recognition, and Class 6A State Lineman of the Year honors.

Outside football, he participated in track and field, competing in the shot put. He also earned honor roll recognition while balancing his academic responsibilities.

His production at Parker established him as a highly regarded defensive prospect and attracted attention from college recruiters.

Crawford's high school success led to interest from several college football programs. He committed to Auburn on October 16, 2023, before officially signing with the Tigers on December 4, 2024, as part of their 2025 recruiting class.

Recruiting services rated him a four-star defensive line prospect. His decision reflected his familiarity with the university, having regularly attended Auburn home games and developed relationships with members of its coaching staff.

He enrolled at Auburn in January 2025, beginning his transition from high school football to the SEC.

Crawford appeared in nine games during his freshman season in 2025. He made his collegiate debut against Baylor in the season opener and recorded his first tackle against Texas A&M on September 27. He added another tackle against Mercer on November 22, finishing the year with two tackles and no starts.

His sophomore season brought greater responsibility. He earned his first collegiate start against Florida on September 19, 2026, marking an important milestone in his Auburn career.

He followed that appearance with one of his strongest performances against Vanderbilt on September 26. In Auburn's 21-15 victory, he recorded a career-high five tackles and half a sack.

Through eight games as of November 3, he had accumulated 20 tackles, compared with two during his freshman season.

He provides size along Auburn's interior defensive line. His responsibilities include engaging blockers, occupying gaps, and disrupting running plays near the line of scrimmage.

His high school evaluations highlighted his strength, quickness off the snap, and ability to penetrate opposing offensive lines. These traits helped him become an effective pass rusher during his time at Parker.

At the collegiate level, applying those abilities against more experienced opponents requires continued attention to technique, consistency, and recognition of offensive formations. These areas remain important as he works toward a larger role in Auburn's defense.

Beyond football, he has taken an active role in supporting his hometown through The Greedy House, a community center in Birmingham's Titusville neighborhood.

In March 2026, reports revealed that he had used earnings from name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities to help establish the center alongside his mother, Patsy Crawford. Together, they transformed a former coffee house into a community space offering donated essentials to residents.

The initiative provides food, school supplies, and hygiene products. It also features an emergency meal-kit pantry for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Their community efforts also include an earlier project at C.J. Donald Middle School, where Crawford and his mother established an essentials room stocked with supplies for students.

The name The Greedy House reflects their desire to create a lasting, positive impact in the community. Through the initiative, he has extended his involvement beyond football by helping provide resources to families in the city where he grew up.

Crawford's next step at Auburn will depend on his ability to translate his physical attributes and growing experience into consistent production against SEC competition. Continued improvement in technique, gap discipline, and recognition of offensive schemes could help him secure a more established role along the Tigers' defensive line.
