Judge reportedly confronted his teammate, but the behavior continued.
Aaron Judge reportedly had concerns about Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s conduct during the Yankees' 2026 season and spoke to him about it. Veteran Yankees reporter Randy Miller reported that Chisholm personally confirmed the conversation, saying the captain had sternly told him to stop certain behavior.
Chisholm continued to attract attention throughout the season. He was spotted sucking on a lollipop while playing second base and later ejected after arguing with an umpire over a call.
According to Miller's report, Judge felt some of his teammate's actions had crossed the line. The conversation did little to prevent further incidents during the season.
The report surfaced as Chisholm entered free agency after the Yankees declined to extend him a qualifying offer, adding another layer to the discussion surrounding his future in New York.
